Unforgettable memories still linger with all those who attended the 2010 Children/Youth Camp at Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area, near Milton, Ontario.
Sleeping in tents might have been the first time, but nevertheless an enjoyable experience for some of the children and their parents. The Lord granted us beautiful weather and much appealing natural sights and sounds. Our children immensely enjoyed the time they spend in nature digging deeper into the mine of God's Word, doing their crafts, climbing the rocks, walking the trails, singing around the camp fire, playing among themselves and with their parents, eating their meals...
Although the attendance of some parents was not constant, we had on average about 15 adults and 15-20 children and youth throughout this event. On the Sabbath day a larger group of our members and visitors assembled and we spent one of the more memorable Sabbaths worshiping and fellowshipping under the open sky (even managing a short and warm summer rain shower). Remembering God first, we also wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who came and who in any way contributed to the success of this summer event.
May the Lord open the way and enable us to organize similar events in the future!
